Message to female tumblrettes…
Earlier last week I called out to female tumblrettes asking for permission to draw their portraits. So I began searching through various tumblrs and tons of pictures but could only find a very few that were exactly what I was looking for. I appreciate smiles for pictures but for any artist this is not the ideal picture to draw from. If any tumblrettes have picture that shows something different than smiling, something potent and powerful, something that shows YOU, then I would be extremely happy to draw it. If you don’t have any, then ask yourself; Why havn’t you been showing your true self from the beginning? In the end you may find out more about yourself. Thank you for reading, and thank you for any portraits you may let me draw.

Here’s mine too but I’m not sure if this is kinda what you’re looking for. What do you do with other’s portrait by the way?
The portraits are really only for practice in composition, rendering and overall style. That and they are only 8.5 x 5.75 inches big. I do them in mechanical pencil right now but as I progress I would like to branch out in subtle colors. All in all I’m trying to capture my voice, but if anyone would physically want their portrait then I’m up to that. Thanks for the reference Kimsoph, I’ll probably look through your tumblr to see if there’s other out there.
